If you’ve ever wondered who that guy is constantly wandering through nature, forests, and mountains with a camera in hand — chances are, that’s me. Igor Pavlović.
I’ve been into photography for over 15 years now (which is a little scary, considering I’m still convinced I’m 25), and it’s my passion, my profession and something without my day simply doesn’t feel right.
In the world of social media, we photographers pop up like mushrooms after the rain, but every click, like, and comment feels like a handshake with a good friend.
I love sharing moments, light, colors, stories — and often, a lot of mud on my pants and boots. Because the most beautiful photos are made on your knees, in the grass, or somewhere on top of a hill.
I use only Sigma lenses for all my photographic adventures, both in nature and in urban settings. Why Sigma? Because I trust them to capture exactly what my eyes see and what my heart feels.
Whether I’m shooting a dewdrop on a leaf or the play of light on a mountain peak, Sigma brings sharpness, depth, and character to every photo.
Besides chasing the light through my lens, I’m also active in the scouting world, where I learned that good preparation saves the day — and sometimes a thermos of coffee saves your life.
From that love for nature, my outdoor photography workshops were born, and I now lead them all over Croatia. From the coast to the peaks — literally.
A special corner of my heart belongs to product photography workshops, where all those “invisible” objects suddenly become the stars in front of the camera.
That’s where I play with lighting, framing, and details until I say those familiar words: “Now that’s it.”
I’m also the vice president of my local photo club (which sounds more serious than it really is), and a guest lecturer at the Community College, where I talk about photo editing — though more often about why we edit than how.
My official channels are my diary, my little corner where I share small victories, useful tips, a few behind-the-scenes laughs — and of course, lots of photos.
